Origin: Star Apple originates in the West Indies and Central America. Our Star Apple is grown on small sustainable farms here in South Florida!

Flavor Profile: This purple or green skinned fruit has a super sweet, white, juicy flesh on the inside, and when cut in half resembles the shape of a star!

How To Eat: We ship Star Apple slightly unripe to ensure they arrive safely. Wait until it is squeezable before eating, some may already be ripe when you get them, and some may need some time to ripen. The skin of a star apple is often covered in latex and is not edible. The pulp around the seeds is the part you eat, it tastes sweet and refreshing, similar to an Abiu.

First come first serve, any orders that can’t be shipped this season will be reserved for next season.

The total weight of each box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit: 

• One Fruit contains 1 piece of fruit (sizing varies)
• Small Box contains up to 3-5 pounds
• Large Box contains up to 8-10 pounds
• Extra Large Box contains up to 16-20 pounds
• Bulk Box contains up to 34-40 pounds

We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.
