Origin: The history of loquats is fascinating, as they were originally from Central-Eastern China and brought to Japan over 1,000 years ago.  Some incredible Japanese varieties have spread to subtropical regions in Europe, the Mediterranean, and beyond.

Flavor Profile: A delicious mix of apricot, plum, and cherry with a slightly floral flavor.

How to Eat: Loquats arrive ready to eat upon delivery! This fruit is edible with the skin and seeds. However, removing the seeds is essential as there are usually two to five seeds inside the fruit. Do not consume the seeds.

The total weight of each box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit: 

• A Small Box contains up to 2-3 pounds
• A Large Box contains up to 4-6 pounds
  

We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value compared to a Small Box. The Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package.
