Your pre-order holds your place in line on our wait list. When Mauritius Lychee comes into season and is ready to harvest from the trees, you will receive your order as soon as possible.***

Important Info: We grow multiple varieties of Lychee here in South Florida, if you order this Mauritius lychee box, you will receive the Mauritius variety. We only ship fresh lychee grown in Florida. The season for lychees is very short. Mauritius lychee harvesting in South Florida typically begins in mid-late May and ends in late June.

Origin: Lychee is a tropical and subtropical fruit native to the Guangdong and Fujian provinces of China, and now cultivated in many parts of the world.

Flavor Profile: Mauritius lychee has a sweet and tart tropical flavor, which is one of the most popular flavor profiles for lychees around the globe. They are often best tasting when harvested at a pink stage rather than full red, as the completely red fruit can lose flavor. The fresh fruit has a delicate, whitish pulp with a floral smell and a fragrant, sweet flavor.

How To Eat: After it is picked, Lychee skin stays pink for only 2 days. Imported Lychees are often sprayed with preservatives to keep them pink. This is why we do not sell imported Lychees. It is possible that the outside of your Lychees may turn brown in transit. They will still be good to eat 1-2 weeks after they are picked, depending on how they are stored. You can prolong the oxidation by storing them in a plastic bag or airtight container. We recommend eating the lychee as soon as you get them and refrigerating any leftovers immediately. It makes the perfect on-the-go snack and is a great substitute for candy.

• One Pound contains up to 1 pound
• Small Box contains up to 3-5 pounds
• Large Box contains up to 8-10 pounds
• Extra Large Box contains up to 16-20 pounds
• Bulk Box contains up to 34-40 pounds 

We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.
