Mysore Banana

Origin: Also known as Pisang Keling. This is a favorite of many banana lovers. Mysore Bananas originate from India and Pakistan. While the plants themselves are quite hearty and strong, the fruits have a thinner delicate skin.

Flavor Profile: They are commonly known for their delicious ‘sweet tart’ candy flavor. Many would also compare this variety to strawberry shortcake. It’s easy to eat more than one of these cute baby bananas.

How To Eat: When the fruits are easy to peel and have changed to a yellowish gold color, they are ready to be consumed. Make sure to store bananas in 70 degrees F for proper ripening. Do not store in a bag or container to ripen, a table top or counter is best.

First come first serve, any orders that can’t be shipped this harvest will be reserved for next harvest.
